THE METHODIST TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, TALEGAON
The Methodist Technical Training Institute, Talegaon, successfully completed one more year by the grace of God. The Institute runs course for three trades.
The Methodist Technical Training Institute, is located at Talegaon .The Institute runs three trades.
Electric Wireman & Motor Rewinding: This course is a one-year course recognized by the Government Board of Technical Examination. Exams to the course are conducted in June the. During the year students are taken to big workshops at Talegaon for practicals. This trade has a seat capacity of 25 students.
Two-Three Wheeler Mechanic course: This course is also a one-year course which can accommodate 15 boys. Practical are done in our own garage.
Tailoring class: This is a 6 months course. 10 girls completed the course in June and 15 new girls joined the course.
Garage and Service Station: We have our own garage where repair of 2/3 wheelers is done. Students are made to do their practical at the garage. A monthly income of Rs.2000/- to 3000/- is acquired from the service station.
Hostel: The Institute also provides for hostel facilities. There are 13 boys at the hostel most of whom are street boys, who are motivated to join the 2/3 wheeler courses.
Extra Curricular Activities: Besides educative activities, sports and other entertainment programmes are organized for the students.
